Never easy to say good bye to someone you love, even though it never really is goodbye but rather stay safe until we meet again.
So much will happen in the time that you are apart, lives will change....you just always hope for the better and that what you had before will still be the same or even better upon return.
My little sister Kristine and her boyfriend Nick left this morning on their amazing journey. A journey that has been a long time in the making, a long time for me to prepare myself.
It was still difficult.
But I have done it (said goodbye)and whilst time will feel slow in a few years when I look back their journey will have been a small section of the life that we will share as sisters, brothers and friends.
Teeny and Nickle-D, I wish you well, I wish you every success. I hope that your best days surpass expectations and that the not so good days are few and far between.
